Yes thats the thing isnt it Rich. Crying shame that its cheaper to buy new than have refurbed (if the wheel you want is available). A bit of a no brainer for me.
Finding decent aftermarket wheels in MGF fitting is a bit of a challenge.
I can imagine. I assume thats what the libra is using?

Yep, it actually takes very little from the MGF, but brakes and hubs, throttle cable, LHD steering rack and water pipes are on the list.

LHD rack? whats the reasoning for that. gosh that must be a difficult item to source..

It is mounted upside down, not quite sure of the reasoning but yes they can be tricky to source, particularly the high ration version. Thankfully the original builder of my Libra made the effort and sourced a brand new high ratio rack when he built it.

Certainly inventive at times!

Brakes have probably caused me more head scratching than any other single component, Rover had a LOT of options in the 90's.
