a VR sensor mounting, as used by KAD and SC Components.
The towers that hold the sensor bracket on are cut down, so that the sensor can pick up the trigger wheel from the back of pulley.

....an oil feed hose.
This goes to the back of the head via a T on the oil pressure switch, to another T on the back of the head, via a banjo, so that oil can be fed to the cams. I chose to have 2 T's so that I can have an oil pressure switch and a mechanical oil pressure gauge for monitoring.

....bottom part of cylinder head torqued down.
Its a faff having to change sockets and bits for all the different sized bolts.
Main bolts 50lb
bent bolts 30lb
side bolts 25lb

Oil flows back from head via this blue silicone pipe where the mechanical fuel pump used to go.

The shims have to be ground down individually to provide a correct valve gap for the follower.

.....fitting the timing pulleys, belt and tensioner.
Belt is tensioned so that it can be 'relatively' easily twisted 90 degrees on the longest length of belt. Not too tight....but not slack either.
