I've been working on mine a fair bit with it stood on my trailer. It puts the car at such a good height to work on bodywork though access to the underside of the car is obstructed by the trailer. I'm shortly going to be making up a pair of 'A' frames on which I'll mount the car such that it's on a rotisserie. Have a look in the club mag and you'll see Desmond Gorman's car on one at Alistair's Workshop.
Anything to raise a car up so you're not stooping down for hours on end is very much recommended especially if like me you're over 6' tall. Odd how lots of kit car owners are frequently tall.
