FAILED :evil:
nearside front position lamp,offside rear foglamp (suddenly working when I got home :shock: )
offside front brake caliper leaking so couldnt finnish off brake test,
parking brake efficiency below requirements (even though you can put it on and burn out the front tyres with out creeping)

advisory
misfiring engine ? W T F :(

My tester let me off the handbrake and one of my headlamps......and told me to fix them when I get home.

Where is the caliper leaking from Johnny?

top half of the caliper where the two halfs join together

I'm pretty sure I've seen the caliper half seals at Minispares or Mini Sport.

Finally passed spark plug off now done one of the rear hand brake arms had seized up ready now to run the engine back in after its head gasget change so just sent the wife up to get the tax sorted then we are back in Midas smiley land ;)

new set of plugs back to running sweet can't tax the car till tomorrow bacause of the bank hols :(

back to square one :( went to the Metro centre to get a compression tester and on the way back lost all power ??
managed to crawl the car home tried the tester out and no compression between three and four cylinder.
So head off again and my new copper gasget destroyed only took 2 hours to change including letting the engine cool down.hopefully thats it now another 475 miles to run in again.

thats unusual johnny. its usually between 2 and 3. A lot recommend a UK spec BK460 gasket these days.

Took your advice David and ordered 2 think the head may need a slight skim as its the second time in the same place
