Hans was right, silver is preferable to rust for the drums. I did nearly send them back as they're only 5" wide, rather than the 5.5" advertised. I guess some 165 tyres wouldn't look out of place on them.
A good job I didn't sleep on the decision to buy. Thanks for the heads up Richard.

I've had a set a while myself too. Was playing around with different wheels for my Mk2. I must get back to finishing it sometime but I've a few other projects I'm busy with unfortunately.

Looks good, they did several versions, Mini ones too, there were never that many after market alloy wheels made for the Metro in comparison to the Mini.
Still a bit peeved they're only 5J.
There are some 55 series tyres available, although I wouldn't fancy trying a Pirelli again.

Quite a lot of 65 series ones, not sure what they'd be like grip wise, having said that the car may never turn a wheel whilst in my hands.
