Great to see you have updated the forum to latest v!
Please can you enable the backend capability to download backups away from the server too. I, along with a few others, have been doing these backups for several years and Id hate to lose the content if the local server fails (which is where the backups currently are).

I have attached the midaslogo here if you want to reattach it to the forum. I had set up hosting on one of my old servers, upgraded the forum to current spec, added a letsencrypt cert and had the URL pointing at it but stood it down, now I can see this has been restored.

Hi Colin. Just a heads up theres a new release of phpBB out: feature release 3.3.16 is available. Also would it be possible to reactivate external backups. I often did backups and downloaded them to my laptop for safe keeping. That option seems to have disappeared since you upgraded it. I did an upgrade myself then restored, upgraded to latest, put emoticons, likes etc on and then hosted it on my server before I realised you had then restored it and upgraded it too (it was offline for a week or two earlier in year) Anyway I switched mine back off again to avoid confusion. All the best.

A new feature release 3.3.17 is available. Please read the release announcement to learn about what it has to offer, and how to upgrade.
