Rear seat

Dear all,
Tomorrow I am going to the National aircraft museum Aviodrome where we'll be having a big show with cars and aircraft. There will be 2 Midasses, mine and Peter Camping with his red Convertible.
Now I have 2 fighting kids who both want to come with me. Also my wife has expressed interest (that's a bit odd, no shops, just aircraft and cars, I suppose that's the Midas magic). That's a bit difficult in a Gold Convertible, because I have only 2 seats. I recall the Gold Convertible being advertised many years ago as a 2+2. I suppose I've ruined that possibility with the bucket seats and full harness, but this can be reversed.
Question is if it is practical to have a rear seat in the Gold Convertible? Does anyone have a 2+2 Gold Convertible or has anyone seen a rear bench for this car? I am not going to swap it for an Excelsior and I don't know any interesting convertible that has 4 seats (Pimlico is funny, but doesn't appeal to me).
Cheers, Hans

it would be a bit of a squeeze Hans I would think. Possible but very tight.

In the past I have had one of my little ones in the back (no shouts of irresponsible shock horror as I was off road on a flat show ground) but its a bit odd they could have said that when you think about the horizontal roll bar brace being in the way.

I saw that roll over bar brace on the prototype, but my car doesn't have it. Instead I have used the space for my wind deflector.
Cheers, Hans

Oh, Sorry I thought they all had that.

Mine does have the brace. Maybe that part explains why mine (midas) is stiffer.
