That's quite remarkable for a 25 year old car. The joys of gelcoat - you lucky people.

An underbonnet shot as it was mid 2010, just after I fitted a new remote servo.

Tog, The seats are Ridgard as supplied by Midas, originally in my Mk3. I had the driver’s seat re-covered by Bob Ridgard when I swapped them over, as after 80k miles of supporting my backside in the Gold it was beyond its best. The rear dampers are AVO with adjustable spring seats, but the spring length was too short to allow the seat to go low enough without the spring coming loose on full droop - I finally got round to fitting helper springs to take up the slack (about an inch and a half), so now the seat can be wound down to give a better looking ride height with everything staying properly located. I can always wind them back up if I want to carry a heavy load.

Great to see a good flow of nicely restored and tidied up Midas
There's going to be a nice show of cars at Stoneleigh again assuming you'll bring it along Jon?
For those who might be tempted by a Midas as a project David Turner has one looking for someone to take it on in Bradford that needs a thorough going through. Could be a good time to snap one up as I can see people doing great jobs restoring their cars now and only resulting in values going up.

Kelvin, I am intending to go to Stoneleigh, it will be six years since this car was last there, although I've been a few times in my AC over that time. MoT is booked for next Monday, so even if there are problems I should have plenty of time to sort them out before then. I still doubt it it's worth much though because it hasn't got a Marcos badge on it.
