Hi Jim,

Carl already does them rose jointed for the mini, albeit you would need to mount them to a simple beam. Pretty easy to make though for the midas.... straight box section with some ears on for the rose joint mounts.

;) its going that way isnt it Geoff.

Main thing is that, except for the slight cut out for cam pulley and different bonnet, I haven't actually modified the body in any other way. That is the driving force for my ideas, to touch the body as little as possible as I still believe the car silloutte is as up to date as anything on the market now. The running gear is obviously a different story.

When looked at side on compared to the latest Nissan skyliner replacement, taking the headlamp caps away and its more or less the same lines, albeit shruken down.

Its my pocket battleship LOL.

No probs Jim.

If you want any dimensions let me know.

Eg, Using 1/2inch UNF for shock pickups and 3/8 rose joints .

Cheers,

David

Ignore ride heights. I haven't set the suspension or put the motor back in yet.

Hi David,
Can you PM me the biggest possible files of these pics? The ones on the forum are too small to work on. I need pics of a few MB to be able to zoom in on the lights without losing too much resolution.
Cheers, Hans

If you would paint them white the light covers would more or less like this:
