Convertible tonneau cover

Postby Hans Efde » Thu Aug 06, 2009 4:01 pm

This seems a rare item to me. I have seen it in pics of the prototype, but apparently they were sold as well. I don't know if it's useful (my heater works great, hairs burn almost of my legs, and no wind thanks to the deflector!), maybe in a Spyder version with perspex window? :D

won't fit mine because of the one off roll bar think I'll stick with the options of hard/soft or none

We bought the tonneau, the seller's name was Norman Sutherland, he added a note to say 'Many thanks for your purchase...slightly jealous that you still have a Midas! Best Wishes Stormin' !

Your not too far from us, if you'd like to borrow it to make a template, I'm sure we can arrange something.

Sounds like a plan! I wouldnt mind one made out of red mohair.

Not in a rush at the moment as the cars in lots of pieces having the front and rear suspension rebuilt etc.

you must have been the one who bidded against me lol. :)

I was in the middle of a mishap at the time bidding ended, stranded 10 miles from home due to misfueling a diesel with petrol. so my loss your gain!

Kind regards,

David
