I saw Alistairs view on not individualising hydrogas units yesterday so I thought it might be good to get a balanced view from some racers who have, indeed, fully individualised their hydrogas suspension both in the metros and the later MGF cars, before Rover decided to go over to using Coil springs with the MGTF, due to cost and availability of hydrogas unit manufacture balanced against benefits raised.

In addition, as well as having the rear turretted conversion fitted, it was common practice in the early days to fit a competition bump stop kit as well as fitting the rear anti rollbar.
I spoke to a guy in the know about the Howley Racing Computer Vision Metros (remember them?) and they had massive rear ant rollbars fitted weighing a lot of kilos.
Anyway, whichever way you decide to go, its good to know there are differing ways of achieving the result you require.
