It finally went for $2000 after a jillion bids, i quit around 1400...ive never seen any bodywork that looks like this, must have been a oneoff..he said it was fiberglass, jim

Hi Jim

I must admit, that it was not my cup of tea (not to my taste). But I can see the fascination in something so unusual. It did remind me of a kit that we used to see in this country, I think it was called a Fairthorpe TX Tripper. Does anyone else remember this car? Now the the other wooden car I thought was excellent, the time effort and ingenuity that went into that project was amazing! So Bike engined cars are nothing new!

This car was ugly as a frog but it seemed to cry out for a rescue, the Tripper does have a resemblance to it but is far better looking...wouldnt mind having one of those, jim
