Just want to offer a big thanks to Alan for his hard work getting the heated windscreens together (can't imagine it's too easy), I think everyone on here feels the same.
P.S Can you do stub axles next please

Thank you all for your kind words. But I did this certainly the first time around, on a purely selfish basis, I needed front heated screens for myself and the only way of getting them was a group buy. It's all part of my fantasy of trying to produce a modern Midas. I've made no secret of the fact, that I would like to end up with two Midas's, a winter car (coupe) and a summer car (convertible). But with all of today's modern conveniences, modern engine, five speed box, air conditioning and heated screens! Well we can now strike the last item off the list. Retirement is just over two years away for me (god willing). So perhaps the serious engineering and cutting and shutting of bodywork will start then, but I do hope that I will get there before then. But in the short term I will still try and gather Midas components to go into stock.

Thank you again Alan

I don't go into hospital until November 23rd, So we will have to wait, it's not that serious. But they are going to cut and shut my bodywork. They are doing about five incisions and that clever remote by camera surgery, but the surgeon said that there is always a worry about the inevitable happening!

Thanks anyway Hans
