Locking wheel nuts

Postby max midas » Thu Feb 09, 2012 10:29 pm

Does anyone know where one can buy locking wheel nuts?
I made the mistake of getting Kwik Fit to mount my mail order (thank you Minispares) Yokos on my wheels. They double torqued the wheel nuts up to 'manufacturers recomended' torque. This turned out to be up to 100 lbs/ft! Not the 36-45 according to Haynes.
This resulted in my wheel lock thingy sheering one of its pins, and bending the other two.
So I'm looking for a replacement, and Halfords can't help.
Any ideas?

Just check the seat angle suits your wheels
