Re: Mk 1 Project Zippy. Looking Like a Car.

Hello.
Am here and read as often as I can. Keep writing about your car and what you do with it. It's inspiring for someone who hasn't done much in a long time. Other things that got in the way. But my MIdas is next in line.

Re: Spare parts.

Hi.
What I thought about in the first place are wear parts. I need drive shaft rubber damask and some other. Anyone know if it's the same size of drive shaft damask on a Mini as on a Metro?
If I can buy from Minispares or similar.

Spare parts.

Hi.
Where do you buy your spare parts?
I live in Sweden and it's not easy to find parts here.

regards
Patrik

Re: Is a Mini Marcos OK for a 6ft driver?

Hi.
I have a Midas MK3 and is about 190cm tall. To make it a little nicer in my car, I changed original seats to two in red leather from an Alfa 147. Some modifications before I had these to fit. But now I'm sitting really well in the car. If I had a helmet on me in the car, it would be a problem ...

Limited slip differential

Has anyone tried a limited slip differential in your Midas?
Thinking of a Quafe ATB, but being a bit uncertain if that's right.
I'm planning on taking my Midas on some club race on the racing track, sometime occasionally. But the most part of the time, there are only narrow winding roads.
Have read ...

Swedish Midas Gold.

Hello everyone.
Now I have finally done some work on my Midas.
Looking for what could be wrong with my engine, low oil pressure.
Found that the return valve was not correct, and some other things that needed to be fixed. Service, and replacement of cambelt, I have cambelt in my engine. Did the work ...

Re: Midas Gold Coupe 1987

Hi.
Some may wonder what happens to my Midas. Not much, nothing at all. Since more than a year, we are building a new garage to our cars. We have a few, five cars and two motorcycles.
The wife writes a blog, but has not written anything in a while. But a lot of the construction of the garage, in ...

Re: Hill Climbing

Hi.
I would be very interested. Have thoughts on running a little club competitions with my car. A MK3. When do I need a rollcage. But I live in Sweden, so it's a bit away.

Greetings
Patrik Nilsson.

Re: Midas Gold Coupe 1987

Hello.
Still only in the planning stages of my car. Have many thoughts on how things should be resolved in the best way.
Have you thought right from the beginning so you only need to do it once.
At the moment I'm thinking about the best place to put the oil cooler. Where have you placed your oil ...
