Hi All,
Just wondering if there is any news on whether or not there will be a Midas presence at the Classic Motor Show at the NEC on the 11-13th November? I was hoping to go and see some of you there.

Hi Jin, I’ll be there although I couldn’t book through the club area of the site but was able to get a public ticket. No problem for me as I don’t have my car ready for display yet. I hope though to get some good news about my engine rebuild from Ross Thomas of Classic and Modern.

I want to congratulate John also for arranging a super event, WELL DONE! It was great to be in the birth place of a car that has a pretty impressive pedigree. All those that brought cars should also take a pat on the back, as the cars looked stunning. Even if the weather didn’t play ball the roads ...

Thanks Alistair for another great open day! Can I say the chef was particularly good this year, not a burnt sausage in sight . There was a good turnout of cars as well and lots of talk about new projects starting up, all great for the mark.

Thanks Stuart, Yes the colour is a bit out there but I thought I would try bringing the Midas colour range into the 21st century . We’ll see how it look when it’s complete. More pictures coming soon.

For those who are interested the colour is a Ford colour used mainly on the Fiesta range but I have seen it on others and it’s called Copper Pulse.
I have more photos of the process but I’m going to see the next stage at the weekend ...
