It's weird seeing it all back to front....
I've toyed with the idea of getting one of those for a while, this week I finally got my Gold into a dry-ish environment.

Re: My Libra - recommissioning
Not sure if I asked this earlier Rich, but is the Libra back on the road now after the recommissioning? Whats it like to insure?
Hi David,
No, still in pretty much the same state, the unit is unheated and I've become a bit of a jessie with age.
It isn't ridiculous to insure, low enough for me ...

Yep, it actually takes very little from the MGF, but brakes and hubs, throttle cable, LHD steering rack and water pipes are on the list.manifold wrote:

Re: wheels for midas mk3's
I've just had a set of 5 refurbished for the Libra. came to just under £100 each. They have done a fantastic job, but, were they available, I could have had a set of Team Dynamics for around the same.
Yes thats the thing isnt it Rich. Crying shame that its cheaper to buy new than have refurbed ...

Re: wheels for midas mk3's
I got my wheels when you could still pick up Metros for scrap money, the ones on it right now are from a MG Turbo and I have a set of the original kit wheels in the lock up for refurbishment at some point.
