which seats fit a gold coupe

The car is almost half my height, I am about 192cm /6'4"; I'm going to go with its less than 93cm on the inside....

A shame the sunroof isn't further back. I told you they where huge.

I bought a pair of mint MX5 seats for lunch money to put in my Midas Mk 3 coupe. They look great. Can't wait to put them in!

But they are not a strait fit. Do i need to make new holes in the floor to mount them?
I'm not too keen on that, as they will be very close to the original ones (about 30 mm further apart).

I'm thinking about making an adaptor, but that's a lot of work. How did you guys solve that?

Do you have current links to these photos online? These links don't work for me now, although I'm sure I've seen the photos in the past.

I now have a pair of MX5 seats, one of which is undergoing repair work to its tired cushion and torn bolster, and they're destined to go into my Gold. I wanted to remind myself of your fitting solution, hence my question...
