David L wrote:James, can you lift photos directly from Photobucket to add them to the gallery? If so, I could let you have a few links.
Sure can David, takes me a little longer, but I don't mind, either reply or PM with the links :)
OK, here goes:
Note that I'll need to take more photos, once it's been cleaned/polished/MoT'd and taxed, etc., since I've removed the spoiler behind the rear window, but this was as it was when I bought it. Also, I'll give you the VIN number later - not now, it's far too cold to go outside...

Also, this was my original Bronze. This is a digital photo of an 8" x 10" print, so you may not be able to use it - or want to, since I now have no idea who owns it, or even if it's still running - DO20241 - I sold it in 1993/4...

Really? I'd love to know if it's still around - even better if it belongs to someone on this forum! I had fitted the newer nosecone before I sold it, though. That photo would have been taken (at a guess) about six years before I sold the car.

Did you fit the nose cone with filler so it became one with the car? I. E. no joints in the nose cone. The car came from Graeme in Ayrshire. If it's the same car, so that would be not too far from you. It's sitting in one of my garages, a bit unloved at the moment. But I'm sure when the better weather comes, there will be a bit of love in the air! I'll ring Johnny tomorrow and let you know, it would be nice if it is one and the same car!

I don't think I did, but also, I don't think I fitted the black plastic edging, either, since I didn't want a black line interrupting the white. A subsequent owner may have done so, though. I think the second owner lived in Dunfermline, but I wouldn't remember the name.

However, unless the car wasn't there when I last visited you, I think I might have recognised it if you'd shown me it! But if it IS in one of your garages, I'd love to see it again, to see how it's aged!

David, your photos are now up, including your white mk2 - please send any further updates on to me and I will get them up :)

I have also put up Jon (D) Evans white Mk2.

Just a reminder to all:
I need some chassis numbers for your car photos - granted with the snow, it is too cold to go outside at the moment, mine is currently undercover!
