With reference to David's Mk 2, I've checked with Johnny and his car is a"B" registered car. So that's not it.

I wonder if it is Graeme's car, In Ayrshire. When we picked up Johnny's car, we followed Graeme for some time, maybe that is where I saw the registration number! Q---PES

It was a very nice white Mk 2.

Well, I can't say I'm not disappointed, but I'm not surprised either! I think I remember that the "QnnnPES" registration was one which was being issued in more than one part of Scotland at that time, so there may be quite a few Midases bearing those letters - although I think I've only seen one other.

I'd still be keen to see my old car again, though!

Don't forget guys, i am still looking for photos of your midas with Chassis number, and pictures for your members page :)

Old or new photos, I can always update them in the future :)

Hopefully I'll get some pictures of my cars once the snow has melted, they're buried under the snow at the moment.

Photos received and gallery updated Stu, I'm hoping the snow stops soon, I'd quite like to take the midas out!

Hi Chaps sorry I've not been on for a while the Reg on mine is Q763 FAD Chassis number - DO 20229

I need to do a bit of catch up here not been on for a while. Still hunting down +30 piston rings. In retrospect I should have Kept the engine in the one I sold Johnny esp since he is planning on taking it out, Need to email him and see if I can get first refusal.

Catch up soon.
