coupe armrests, from what car?

Post by Hans Efde »

I have the convertible with on the doorcards mounted the standard Metro armrest/doorpuller. I recall that on my coupe I had a much prettier armrest/doorpuller. On my first coupe no. 13 there were red ones. When I removed them I found out that were made from wood, possibly a part made by Midas Corby themselves. On my 2nd coupe there were grey plastic armrests fitted. I am trying to find these for in my convertible.
Does anyone know from what car they came?
Alternatively does anyone know of other armrests that may fit? It looks like on photo's that the mx5 ones look similar, but I haven't checked them out in real life.

I'm fairly sure they're from the Vauxhall Astra MK 2, or Opel Kadett in your part of the world.
