Hello all. Just a little confused about the colour situation. Can a midas be re gelcoated If so how is it done and how expensive might it be . Take it easy on the easter eggs over the weekend .Regards TOG.

I'm 99.9% sure it's just resprayed.

Yes a Midas could be re gel coated. You'd need to sand off the old gel coat layer first though to laminate then spray or roll on a new gelcoat layer. Then flatten and G3 back. Just in the same way boats are repaired when they've been involved on collisions or dropped on the hard. A lot of work and messy. Cheaper to respray in a 2k paint.
