Insurance - it could be critical !!

Might be a boring subject but an important timely reminder as the show and events season is upon us. The advice I've been given is that if you are arranging ANY sort of event, the wise thing to do is to make sure of your insurance cover in these litigous, everybody else's fault days. The Midas Owners Club does carry insurance for specific selected activities, of course but the cover is for the Club only and for the agreed activities only. Any non-members, however much they cherish their Midas, DO NOT come under this valuable and critical umbrella. If you, as a club member, wish to take advantage of the Club's insurance, you must - repeat MUST - check with one of the club officers beforehand with full activity details so that we can discuss and, if appropriate, confirm with the insurance provider. The Club cannot be held responsible for actions outside these commonsense guidelines and cannot back-date cover. The insurance cover which may be available could be amazing membership subs value when you consider the alternative !!
