OK how about seeing who else out there is looking to enjoy their Midas with a bit of motor sport. Perhaps we could build up a bit of a team if nothing more than a fan scene and team spirit
I know of at least 5 people who are keen on some sporting events with their Midas. I've done some track days and a few other fun events and have decided to take my Midas to some events when I'm finished rebuilding it. Let's see if we can help find some events we can share in a bit of fun with,
Who wants to do some motor sport with their Midas?

Though I've been focusing on Hill Climbing to get going, I'm interested in all forms of motorsport curtailed only by financial restrictions (share salary with wife & kids) and would certainly like to get together with a Midas group for events.

Good, good that's two of us then. Does that make a team?

It's a start; 2 counts at least as a small team.

I know there is a car on here that used to be used as a hill climber.....

That'll be this one then, I guess?

It's been quiet this end, but living in Muchelney in Somerset the floods have pretty much buggered up things this end from Boxing day until start of Apr, so I didn't compete in the Wiscombe Park Hillclimb this weekend gone as intended due to lack of car prep & MOT. However am now progressing and hoping for a May event now - have just received my MSA competitors liscence so need to use it. Has anyone managed to do any events yet this year, or have any planned?

Not yet, I've only just got my Licence too and am looking at convenient sprints/climbs to enter, though for the moment it'll be in a different car
