Midas mk1/2 wanted

Going to build a street/trackday car and want a cheap/registered Midas 1/2....absolutely anything considered

Not sure how you've not found one yet, there's quite a lot out there and there's been a couple change hands very recently. Where in the country are you?

I havnt found one because the two that were on Fleabay recently, my bid was lower than the price they went for !!!..... and I sent a private message to the one offered for free on this forum recently and didnt get a reply.................nobody has replied to my wanted ad with one for sale.....so where are they all ?

There's a couple up for sale at the moment. The one in Wales I can't really imagine anyone is going to be buying or paying much for make an offer on that as I can only imagine that you are not looking to spend very much at all.

Missed out on the no1 car in Derby, because I wasn't quick enough.......I am willing to go up to £1500 for the right car....

For £1500 you really should be able to find one. You'll just have to keep logging in here more frequently, also use ebay and save a search for Midas in the Kit Car section, where are you located?

My car was on ebay for more than a week(Derby one) so Kev is right you have to keep your finger on the pulse.
I certainly would have taken your £1500..lol

Not that it is relevant but i used to live in Elm Park Essex and was actually born in Rainham which as you know is in the same vicinity as Dagenham

Yes, it was just what I wanted.....just too slow.....I know I will get one eventually....I am surprised no one has offered something on this forum.
I live in Dagenham, but have a unit in Crow lane, Romford where I build vintage front engine dragsters www.stamfordspeedshop.com and have a page on faceache as well
I love everything petrol/steam/machinery/race etc etc and love building one off stuff
Next time your down this way pop in for a tea/coffee in fact everyone is welcome
Ideally I want a non sunroof rolling shell with a v5c as its gonna be a road/track car with plenty of power....thats the plan anyway
