13" alloy wheels and tyres

Post by mfdriver »

Anyone got a set of classic mini 13" alloys and tyres in good condition they are looking to move on? 5.5J max. for my Mk 2 Bronze

I have a set of 4 classic mini 12 x 4.5J Mistral alloys with brand new Falken tyres I would be willing to do a deal on. Can send photo if interested in part exchange.

Some months ago I went to see some 13" Revolution RFX wheels in Dundee (5.5J I think) which I believe were the correct offset for a Bronze - I decided against buying them for my Gold despite the fact they had a reasonable (if I remember correctly) set of tyres on them. I think the owner (who, it turned out, also had a Gold in his workshop) was offering them for sale on eBay. Certainly a long way from you, but if you're keen, I can try and see if I still have his contact details.

If you could please - it's worth a go and if price OK a Courier may be the answer - can you remember what sort of money was involved?
Many thanks

Oddly, I don't have his full name or any contact number, but here's a link to his last attempt to sell them on eBay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221599262860? ... EBIDX%3AIT
Even though the auction has finished, the "ask a question" link is still available, so you could try that.

I do have his actual address though, if it's any use.

Since the sale isn't active, he may not be paying much notice to messages from eBay. The next time I'm nearby, I'll pay him a visit and ask him directly. Might manage that next week.

Occasionally. I'm the Scottish agent for a company who make offroad mobility scooters.

Guess where their factory is?

...Whiteparish, just south of Salisbury. :D

However, it's not a journey I make on a regular basis, but I'm probably there at least once a year.

My near neighbour, Colin Iles, used to work there!
Small world
Seller has now replied to say he has both gold set and white set available, so i am replying to ask how much he wants for either. I am not bothered about colour, just condition, as they will be resprayed anyway.
will keep you posted and many thanks for all your help.
