front bumper of midas convertible ( ex Alan)

Post by ilmung »

Hi
Can anyone inform me how I can take off the frontbumper ?
According the manual I understand there are 5 studs ( correct ?), which fix the frontbumper to the body .
Are this studs laminated on the front bumper ?
I think....... I have found 4 of them ( 2 on the left and 2 on the right ) but where is the 5th stud ?
Before I dismantle ....I want to be sure that I make no damage .
greetings of Belgium

Mine was in the middle along the top edge, so behind the top of the radiator.

Easy to get the nut off it if your grille comes off. It seems to be out of the way of road crud - at least mine was, and it came off without protest.

Sorry, what I meant was that the fifth bolt is not in a place where it can get covered by anything thrown up at the bodywork by the wheels.

I allowed your competence in English to lull me into a false sense of security! My apologies.
