MIDAS Mk4 Cortez Coupe

Post by davidj »

My well known (Black over white moulding) Mk 4 Coupe built from a Rover Sport donor. P Reg ie 1400cc K Series Twin Cam Engine, 5 Speed Gearbox makes motorways easy work. A regrettable sale due to illness.

This car will be available with some spares after the Prescott Hill Climb this weekend. Starting price in the region of £1900 but willing to negotiate.

Hi Bizbaz

If you send me your email address I will send you several photos. The car can be viewed at Prescott on Sunday 10th May or by arrangement. The starting price and my contact details are in my previous blog. I will be happy to arrange a lower price to any paid up member of the MIDAS OWNERS CLUB who will use the car for events.

David,

If you could send me some further info on mileage and condition etc I too might be interested.

Not currently a paid up oc member but I've owned 2 GTM K3s from same era, still have one setup for track days.

Email is gareth@woolridge.org.uk

Regards,

Gareth.

Since David's car was photographed by Pete going up Presccott Hill Climb and the phto shared on the forum here in the Prescott thread I don't think it will harm anyone to share the photo here too to help everyone out...

Hi Everyone

Kelvin, thanks very much for moving those pictures onto this post. I was pondering how to do this but you very kindly beat me to it!

Gareth, thanks for your email both direct and here. I am not ignoring you but with the organization of Prescott, getting my self there and competing ( sorry running) I have not got round to it. I will reply this evening when I have sorted out all the spares etc. and I can give you the full facts.

Thanks everyone for making Sunday so enjoyable and full of fun, as it will probably will be my last event with the club. It has been really good to know you all and to enjoy MIDAS motoring with you.

Regards David Johnson
