Master cylinder? Weakened flexible hose?
Don't know what method you use, but any time I have to bleed brakes now, I use one of those devices that pressurises the master cylinder reservoir.
I've been using this method for so long that I can't remember how you do it with two people any more...

Thanks David, all flexis now Goodrich I must say I suspect the master cylinder too. They don't like doing nothing for 15 years ! I might give the pressure method a go though. Cheers

Excellent! I'll hopefully see you there too. Not sure if I will be in a Midas though as I have to bring some parts along for various people including a Midas bonnet and some Elise seats. So I'm not too sure it'll all go in the back as Evie claims that spot as various members of the club can attest to.

Hello all, Here are the latest pics of the completed recomission.

This sort of draws a line under what has gone on a bit but turned out to be a weeks final flourish and about £500 spent on brake parts, heater, tyres and a battery.
Thanks for everyone's support and encouragement.
