Re: donor car
Hello, are you the Cedric Lynch that does the Lynch motors?
I seem to remember that name when I was looking up motors for an EV project i was thinking of doing a while back.
Cheers,
David

Re: donor car
Yes, I am. Are you still thinking of doing the project?
I have now decided to repair my old Metro instead of trying to sell it as a donor; the parts cost less than I expected and the car is surprisingly easy to work on. I haven't found out how to delete the advertisement!

Re: donor car
Hi Cedric Yes I will be.
Its one of those projects o the back burner at the moment....but is certainly something I am aiming to do in the future.
Talking of metros, I know one or two of them have been converted to EV in the past, using the existing gearbox/transfer gearbox arrangement but taking the block off, replacing with a steel plate and fitting a motor on top.
Kind regards,
David
