I use the subframes mainly but I also go under the will area with some 20mm thick 200x200mm aluminum plates I made when I had the Quantum

The ends of the sills are strong enough for jacking, but always use rubber or wooden blocks. I usually put my jack about 4 or 5 inches from the ends (also with a piece of wood) so I can place the stands as close as possible to the wheelarches.
