Thanks Guys,
That's a possible five screens. I've spoken to the supplier and I suggested that we may be able to make an order up of ten screens. He is coming back to me tomorrow with a price, delivery he anticipates would be about June. I'm thinking here we go again. I said I didn't want to do this again, but it is keeping our funny little cars on the road!

Is this of any help?AllanH wrote:Through Alan D's help I've a new heated screen to put in.
In planning the wiring circuit, can anyone advise the current draw/fusing (either per side or the two sides together).
I suspect it's quite a draw (25 amps per side ????) and was considering swithching the timer relay output to driver or passenger side.
Sorry, can't find any clues to this anywhere on the forum.
Look forward to hearing

I'll need to do the same thing eventually. Most of the results I found were for Land Rover Defenders which were all over £100, but these two are for Minis so they're a lot cheaper.
I have no idea why, they do the same job, and I'd guess the screen areas aren't too dissimilar.

It is probably timely to mention that Alistair is accumulating requests for windscreen rubbers for these screens When I contacted him before Christmas he was about 3 short of enough requests to go ahead and order 100 metres

You have took the words right out of my mouth. I also spoke to Alistair just before Christmas about the windscreen rubbers and put my name down for 2 lots. He said that he had been waiting a while for numbers to build up, so perhaps this thread can push them up that little more.benofbrum wrote:It is probably timely to mention that Alistair is accumulating requests for windscreen rubbers for these screens When I contacted him before Christmas he was about 3 short of enough requests to go ahead and order 100 metres
