tophat bolt collars/spacers

hi all, i,ve manage to loose the collars that go over the tophat bolts(front subframe)
does anyone know the sizing on these so i can replace them,or if theres any other fix i can do cheers

I'd be interested in seeing a diagram/picture as mine just had the standard mini set up

On my factory built car they were just a bit of roughly cut tube, nothing fancy at all.

how did you get your bolts to torque as mine just keep winding and squashing the top poly bush

I haven't, it's completely bare shell atm but hopefully the front subframe will be going in soon

Just had a look at mine and it has the spacer tube in the shell. If I can get one out I will post a pic

I thought the spacer goes over the threaded part of the tower bolt as this is the point the torque is created as this locks to the subframe. The Midas bulkhead is thicker so it needs the spacer.

Yes your correct they go over the thread and meet up with the solid partto srop the bolt winding through the poly bush.and they then create the torque.
i made some out of an old bike seatpost made they 6mm and the bolt torqued perfectly

Does someone have a picture of this? Mine doesn't have a spacer or something...

It's more of a sleeve than spacer to be fair. I struggle to get pictures linked properly but will take a photo of mine and post it on my Flickr account
