Warranty Claim

There was a little crack, so I stuck my nail in and pulled the gelcoat off uncovering this large void.

So who was it then? 1981 laminator step forward :P

I guess I shouldn't complain too much really given it's 36 years old and has had a hefty whack on the drivers side.

That's the Lotus spirit, add lightness to go faster. Didn't you go fast?

Yes, air bubbles are definitely lighter than resin.

Hmmm, I wonder if I can fill resin with helium bubbles. That would be lighter still!

You mean I've been doing it wrong using vacuum degassing?
