Stanford Hall 17th Sept

Post by johno »

Is anyone planning to go to the Mini event at Stanford Hall on the 17th Sept? Postcode is LE17 6DH for those who don't know where it is. The club had places last year and it seems to have been a popular event.

Just got back from Stanford Hall. A well supported event with lots of minis and trade stands. Managed to get a new vacuum line. dizzy to carb, an oil feed pipe to the gauge and a 6 way fuse board to replace the grotty 4 way one. Also discovered that my audio system had a CD slot hidden behind the face and that the side windows, which were seized when I bought the car, have responded to WD 40 treatment and now work. They were open all the way home which possibly helped the demisting which was only overwhelmed when the rainfall reached torrential. The single speed wipers were also found to be lacking at the same time. No rain came into the car. When were opening side windows phased out?
