Hi,
I was a Midas Owner several years ago (MK1, MK3, Cortez) and a member of the MOC and the Committee. More recently I got back into classic cars (MG) and own a much tinkered with 1974 MG B GT and a 2010 MG T F LE 500.
I guess that I miss the MOC and Midas cars and may consider owning / restoring a MK3 Gold. I was glad to hear that my old MK3 (Q987 AFG) is still owned by Geoff Butcher, and that my old Cortez (K451 FFS) has changed hands recently. Is my old MK1 (RBU 440W) still on the road?
Cheers,
Tim Clark

Hi, Tim,
Q987AFG is still in daily use, or it was until my recent dire clutch problem, looking a bit scruffy nowadays, but leading an easier life since I retired.

Welcome to the forum.
Like myself there is a number of past owners coming back to the fold. I think when the Midas bug gets under your skin it is hard to get rid of. Luckily I held on to my Midas, it just had an awfully long sabbatical.
