For sale - Midas Cortez

After just about 11 years, the time is right to let my Cortez go.

It is a white Sutton Bonington kit that was bought in July 1997 and registered in April 1998 when the donor had done 31,993 miles.

The donor car was a Metro GTi with the 1400 K series MPI engine.

I acquired it from the second owner in December 2006 when the mileage was around 68,000. It has now done 99,700 miles

The car has been garaged for almost the entire time that I've had it. I've got all the MOTs since April 1998 & all receipts & invoices since the car was built.

I'm just north of Birmingham & am looking for £1,800.

Car's stil for sale, if anyone's interested.

The MOT is up in about 7 weeks, so i intend to get it MOT'd after Easter, but would do so sooner if needed.

Car has now been MOT'd & a new catalyst has been fitted. Also oil & filter has been changed.

As the car's been on the market for a while, now looking for offers around the £1,400 - £1,500 mark.

Thanks, but i haven't got around to advertising it anywhere else yet. i guess i don't really want to see it go, but It's now largely just sitting on the drive & has done less than 400 miles in the last year so I do need to move it on.

I've been polishing the car recently, so i'm going to give it another good clean & then take some more photos with the intention of putting it on ebay or something similar. You should be able to access some photos from the google link above, so i'd be happy for those to be shared around.
