Rear suspension........

Just bought a Midas Gold..and the rear suspension is rock hard, to the point of being uncomfortable..........I presume this is not normal......any suggestions ? [the "bounce test" results in almost no "give" at all...]

Is it hydragas or shockabsorber/springs ?

Is it the white one (C994HFL) from TittyHo Garage perchance?
If so, the Hydragas is flat I think. I looked at it a few weeks ago.

Edit:
And by this I mean the gas side - the ride height seemed OK
