Owned by the late John Buckley who had been a club member for many years.
This white 1.4 Cortez was his 'daily runner' and has been well looked after. There is an index file with substantial history including the original brochure and purchase documents issued by Midas Cars in Sutton Bonington when the Midas was first born!
The car is now in Leicester having been transported from John's home in Lincolnshire. The car has been re-MOT'd to give the buyer the benefit of almost 12months to the 7/12/21. MOT history shows no advisories for the last few years. Current mileage is just over 65,000
The K series 1.4 8 valve engine had a head skim and new gasket in March 2017 together with a new clutch and alternator. The exterior would benefit from a good polish (there is minimal star crazing to the gelcoat).
Paula Mile (a benificiary of John's will) has asked me to deal with initial enquiries. I have more pictures which I am happy to email to prospective buyers.
The asking price is £3300 which would seem to reflect that the car is immediately useable yet gives scope for improvement or modification.
