Midas Missing

Post by oldnut45 »

I went to the Tatton Park classic car show yesterday which was as good as ever and well attended, but I was disappointed when I didn't spot any Midas's there at all, let alone a mk1 or 2 that I was hoping to see. I am in need of looking at and photographing various parts of a mk1/2 to aid me in progressing my rebuild, so if there is anyone with a mk1/2 not too distant from Leyland Lancs. that is willing to let me visit and take some pictures please let me know.
I would also be grateful if anyone has any info of the history of my mk1 car, Reg JRS 506V.

I've been past Leyland this morning, although sadly not in a Midas.

I only have mk2's in various states of disrepair, my most complete car is currently boxed in a corner with very limited access. I'm in the Peak District.
