hi just brand new to this midas owner thing .don't even know what model it is ,just got it two day's ago ,it need a total rebuild ,it was first built in 1980,if anyone has any tips please let me know, the car is 4 years older than i am but it looks in better shape.

It sounds like you have a mk1, is it the burgundy one off ebay by any chance?

as for being in better shape, maybe you should take up cycling or something like that :)

thanks for the welcome guys , havn't got any any pic's yet ,but I dropped the engine out of it to-day it's a bit of a mess .it 's a1275
that been bored out to 1400 so i'm not to sure of it as this seems a wee bit extreme .

no it's white with a bit of pink gel coat showing through,I picked it up from a chap three farms away .
