Re: Midas Gold Coupe
Hm, by any chance, is there any other size then the 165 60 R13 tyres that I can get on the rims I have??? Seems hard to find that size...
Re: Midas Gold Coupe

Re: Midas Gold Coupe
See my topic "tyre size" in technical/gold convertible section. !75/50 will fit, but 185/55 may be better. 175/50 is still sold by Yokohama. I have bridgestones at the moment. Alan has 195/45 and those fit as well. A previous remark from Alistair that the size may vary from marque to marque.

THX, I want to hold the rims because they are the original ones...normally I'm only allowed to use the ones that are written in the car's papers, but when other fit well I can add them...the more the better...

Found some 175/60's, even the Falken I liked on my Mini, maybe I go for that size...

Re: Midas Gold Coupe
The problem here is that you only can use sizes that are in your papers or you need a document for the rims that proof matching sizes, so I first have to look for that...stupid german laws...
Re: Midas Gold Coupe
ha you think germany laws are stupid come to belguim then you see how hard it is to get a import car on the road here . A friend of my wait 8 monds to get hes papers for his tvr then they say in brussels yeah srr for waiting your cars is currently the only tvr 350i fhc in belguim we need to messur the car before you can have your papers
thats stupid .

This all sounds to me like anti-competive interstate (as in EU countries) laws.
I think this way of acting is actually quite illegal under EU laws from my understanding.

Yupp, sometimes I don't know for hwat we need a EU when each country still cooks his own soup, like the age to become a oldtimer for cars or so.
