Re: White Bronze for sale
Wow, now at 1200! On the other hand, this is one of the very best Bronzes driving around. Technical, interior and exterior all in perfect condition. Getting a banger in this condition would cost thousands.
Re: White Bronze for sale
I agree, it is the best mk2 out there, if it was a Mini Marcos it would be at £6000 now judging by what they seem to be fetching these days, especially ones outside of the UK.
Now sold, I hope you got a good price for it Brian. Anyone here bought it?

Re: White Bronze for sale
Hi Mark, yes he sold the car
I'd imagine a standard mk2 would be a bit tight, although it depends on if you're long in the torso. The late Russell Bulgin of Autocar fame drove a mk2 he was 6' 7" I think, the car had a ramp moulded in the floor to gain headroom.
You should fit a mk3 if it has the right seats fitted, they have one inch more headroom than a mk2.
99% of Midas cars will have a 4-speed box being based on the A-series engine and they don't leak like a sieve if built properly.

Re: White Bronze for sale
Yes I'm sure you'd be fine doing that kind of mileage each day. I ran one as my only car for about 10 years! Bear in mind that as a Mini-based car they are high maintence compared to cars built these days.
