Alternative Fuel Gauges?

Post by Rich »

I've binned my Mk2 Metro dash and fitted a Koso digital dash, everything is well and happy apart from the fuel gauge which refuses to work with the Metro sender unit.

I can make some gauge space in a centre console, but does anyone know of an aftermarket gauge that works acceptably?

Very street fighterish ;)

why not junk the metro sender and use a different one, like the etb one? About £18 I think.

Just drill a circular hole in top of tank and fit.

I'd love to junk it, but would it work with the Koso dash? They don't give any resistance specs on the site.

Give them a call. The guy there is quite knowledgeable. I'm sure he will know the specs.

when you say binned the metro pack - have you or is it still around and was it working? reason I ask is a recent midas gold buyer my pack works other than fuel gauge and temp gauge - have replaced voltage stabiliser and still zero readings so have been wondering whether gauges faulty or what - did think of trying to get replacement pack to plug in and try - if you have kept yours and don't want/need it and it was working before - please can we chat

thanks
