Re: first time midas owner
just going through a load of magazines and the midas touch past history so given enough time will be able to give you an answer keep this space clear but sounds like a dodgy earth to me at the mo

Re: first time midas owner
can anybody help me with the wiring on the headlight and indicator stalks i just need the colors and rhe numbers they connect to please
Re: first time midas owner
That's difficult to answer because it depends on which model the donor vehicle was. Do you already have a Haynes manual from the Metro? These books are for sale for almost nothin on Ebay. For several models you can find the wiring diagrams. You have to check those schematics to see which one fits your Midas best. The ony difference between the Midas wiring loom and the Metro are extra earth wires.
I have looked at a few schemes in my Haynes. The wires from the light to the switch can be : UK (blue pink) or UR (blue red) or UB (blue black).

Sikaflex is great stuff for bonding windows and making the car rainproof. But prior to bonding the window, an etching primer needs to be applied on the window. It will prevent UV aging the sealant. In the Midas coupe manual it is advised to start by smearing a layer on the window to make a nice black stripe, but this is wrong. Sikaflex provides documentation how to bond a window and which type sealant to use. The primer is expensive stuff and they sell it in rather large quantities (half litres). I went to a glass specialist and got a jar with the stuff for a few euro's.

How terrible to be forced to go on holiday! Life's just full of problems, isn't it?
Never mind, I expect the Midas will still be lying in wait for you when you return. BTW, going anywhere nice?
