Re: coilovers
I see you now have some dampers Baz, so which ones did you go for in the end?
Re: coilovers
hi i have ordered some spax g999 fully adjustable so i can play about with them once on the road i should be done and ready for stoneleigh very excited cant wait to get rid of the fiesta although would like to take the engine out of it and put it in the midas it would fly thanks for your help
Re: coilovers
Nice one Baz, if they're still the same as they've always been they'll only be adjustable for rebound damping and nothing else. and you're not the only who wants a modern engine in your Midas
Re: coilovers
i have been told not to order them yet and shop around also to try monroes but i dont have any part numbers for other companies so im now stuck yet again
Re: coilovers
The first question is "Do you want height adjustment?"
Re: coilovers
not really bothered do you think it is needed
Re: coilovers
im open to any suggestion this is my first ever project money is not an issue but can slow things down willing to credit card suspension if needbe but need pointing in a good direction to start with just need part numbers i want it on the road urgently
Re: coilovers
Not really needed as long as you have the right springs, however I really don't know what the right springs are, so having height-adjustment is preferable, that rules out the G999 Spax, but doesn't rule out other Spax adjustables.b1zbaz wrote:not really bothered do you think it is needed
All the info you need has already been offered, you just need to read it and then act on the advice given
