Music in your Midas?

Post by max midas »

I was wondering what people listen to when they drive their Midii (Midas's - whatever).
Do folk have the radio on, in which case, music or talk?
If a CD playing, what style?
I find that if I'm on a utilitarian trip to a place of work etc I tend to listen to Radio 4. But if the sun's shining or I'm just feeling in a good mood, it's jazz or classical. In summer with the lid off I might even try to look a bit too trendy and have Radio 1 on!
So what do you listen to when driving (apart from that funny little sound that wasn't there last time you drove her, could be a wheel bearing, or maybe one of the drop gears....)?

In the convertible apart from the rattle and vibration of my things to fix list getting longer as I drive...a bit of maintenance would help that if I'm honest...I listen to radio 2 on the way to work and a CD or the ipod on the way home or if I'm trekking out. iPod integration was one of the best things I've added to the stereo it's great for a long journey and doesn't have the condensation problems I had with the previous CD changer.

I have a similar setup for the bronze (good excuse to upgrade the stereo in the Range Rover) which I'll fit as I tiday up the trim and wiring.

Cheers,

Mike

as someone who drives his midas daily to do the school run with straight cut transfer gears I listen to rather loud classical music. or if in an upbeat mode, house music with the base turned up lol. much to the dismay of my daughter too ;)

Mainly my collection of Captain Beefheart CDs. I'm told this accounts for some, if not all, of my personality problems...

I've got a six disc changer tucked away in the boot of the convertible.

Music tastes? An oxymoron in my case according to the kids. Anything from a spot of AC/DC, Metallica etc to Eminem with a bit of Bon Jovi in the middle. On bumpy roads I try to be serious and listen to Radio 4.

Just discovered Gold on the DAB radio (not in the Midas)! Good for us wrinkly racers!
