Guess the use

Post by Alan D. »

Hello everyone,

Johnny came over today to give me a hand. We did two things on the coilover conversion, the first being to fit the gearbox end mounting! i'm pleased to report that it fits in fine, with no interference.

The second job was to try an MG TF subframe in the car.

As you can see the TF subframe interferes with the body, the K-series subframe is about 40mm wider than the A-series subframe. So even if we grafted the TF towers onto the A-series subframe, we would still have interference with the body work. I think we made the correct decision to make brackets and not alter the bodywork at this time, although that is an option for future projects!
