Its the last few digits of the chassis number. Either on your V5 (when you get it) or in the boot under the carpet. Mine is written in the boot with black ink with a single clear laminate on top so that it cannot be altered.

My chassis number is: SA9AK6508G3011023 so its number 23 (not 26...I made a mistake)

oh yes...forgot about the plate. Yes its there too.

....I also have box of tools in the back, so I have them ready when I have to do building jobs on my business.

I even put a flat pack kitchen in the back of my Coupe in 2 trips! (except full length top). Amazing how much you can get in there.

As it has the rover dash in your car it will be 131. Facelift rover (early) 200 dash was a late addition.

It was an expensive addition that dash too!

Pastiche Midas numbering was a totally different. My convertible is MV113. Andy Murrays Red Convertible (the Blue one now for sale) should be MV112

Its good in one respect, because it was a really pretty dash for a kit car back then.

But bad in another, because it never really worked as it should. Lots of little bodges to make it work. Other owners may input here on this one. I think Geoff, Hans and Johnny also have the Rover 200 dash.

....Hence the reason I went digital....as it was easier than messing about with a half baked dash.
