Ok missed that bit, all mk1 Metro speedo cable ends are the same as far as I'm aware, so the second one is the one you need, the same as I have.

IIRC the Allegro cable has the same ends as the Metro but it is about 2" longer and so gives more room when fitting the dash and the cable isn't stretched like it is with the standard one.

A better bet is to get the longer Metro one, even longer than the Allegro one. note they do two cables, a short one and a long one.
